Best padel scoring apps (2026)
Checked 30 October 2026
There are now plenty of padel scoring apps, and most of them do the basics well. What separates them is which watch you own, whether the score is called out loud, and what happens when you organise more than one court.
What to look for
- Your watch. Most padel apps are Apple Watch only. If you wear an Android watch or a Garmin, your choice shrinks fast.
- Hands-free scoring. One tap on the wrist or a remote, without stopping play to reach for a phone.
- Spoken score. When the score is called out loud, all four players hear it and the arguments stop.
- Your deuce rule. Golden point, star point, silver point or classic advantage. See how to score padel.
- Americano tools, if you organise groups: schedules, several courts, a live leaderboard.
- Live score for others. Friends, the next group waiting, or a club TV.

The apps
PointCall: best for hands-free scoring, on any watch
PointCall is built around one idea: nobody should have to stop and ask the score. Score with one tap from an Apple Watch, an Android (Wear OS) watch or any Bluetooth selfie remote, and the score is called out loud after every point, even with the phone locked in your bag. Classic, Golden, Silver and Star rules, tie-breaks and custom rules are all free. For organisers, it runs Americano, Mexicano and Mixed events across several courts, with each court scored from a phone or watch and a live leaderboard on every phone and the club TV.
Worth knowing: PointCall is about calling the score, not detailed shot statistics. If you want to analyse your errors and winners, look at Padel Stats AI or Padel Pointer.
Padel Smash: best for Garmin owners
The pick if you wear a Garmin. You score from the watch, and a live web scoreboard, shared with a PIN, can read the points out loud. It supports golden point, star point and tie-breaks, and runs americano and mexicano.
Padel Point: a free Apple Watch option with announcements
Scores from the Apple Watch and can announce points. The iPhone doubles as a court-side scoreboard, including over AirPlay. It also covers americano, mexicano and King of the Court. Free, with an optional tip.
Padel40: americano on iPhone and Apple Watch
Lets you score by tapping the phone or the watch, and runs americano and mexicano for up to 24 players on six courts. Free to download, with a subscription.
Padel Score: Scorekeeper
An Apple Watch scorer with golden point, star point and super tie-breaks, americano and mexicano, and Lock Screen live scores. Friends can join a match with a code.
PadelCounter: for streaming matches
An Apple Watch scorer whose browser scoreboard can feed stream overlays, useful if you broadcast club matches. Basic scoring is free; star point, golden point and americano are part of its paid tier.
Padel Pointer and Padel Stats AI: for statistics
Both lean towards analysing your game. Padel Pointer adds post-match reviews and match history. Padel Stats AI logs shot outcomes such as errors and double faults from the watch, and can show the score on a TV.
What about Playtomic?
Playtomic is for booking courts and finding games, and it records results afterwards. It isn’t a live, point-by-point scorer, so many players use it alongside one of the apps above.
Our verdict
- You want to play without thinking about the score: PointCall. It works on Apple Watch, Wear OS or a remote, and calls every point out loud.
- You wear a Garmin: Padel Smash.
- You want shot statistics: Padel Stats AI or Padel Pointer.
- You organise groups: PointCall or Padel40. Try both with your group and see which one they enjoy more.
